When you book a rental through us, you're entering into a contract with the vehicle rental provider.

Your Booking
When making a booking on our website, you must provide complete and accurate information as requested during the booking process. It is your responsibility to review and comply with Our Terms and the Rental Terms, as failure to do so could result in your booking being canceled or additional charges being incurred.
Please note that we cannot guarantee an exact match for the make and model of the vehicle displayed on our website. The photographs and images are indicative of the type, level, and class of vehicle.
The lead name on the booking is responsible for ensuring accuracy and completeness of information provided, paying all amounts due at collection, and presenting a valid payment card at vehicle collection, unless otherwise agreed with the vehicle rental provider.
Only the main driver and eligible drivers named on the Rental Agreement will be authorized by the vehicle rental provider to drive the vehicle.
After completing your booking, you will receive a booking confirmation email from us, containing important information about additional documentation required for vehicle collection.
Cancellation & Refunds
The cancellation terms depend on the payment option selected at the time of booking:
  • Free Cancellation (up to 48 hours before pickup): If you select this option, you may cancel your booking up to 48 hours before collection for a 97% refund of the total amount paid. The remaining 3% covers payment processing costs and is non-refundable.
  • Non-Cancellable Bookings: If you choose this option, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
These options are clearly displayed during checkout, and by ticking the box at payment, you confirm that you understand and accept these terms. If you need to cancel, you can do so via the Manage Booking section, through the link in your confirmation email, or by contacting us at support@reservaway.com. Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 working days.
Vehicle Collection and Documentation
To collect a vehicle booked on this website, the lead driver must present a printed copy of the booking confirmation email, a valid payment card in the lead driver's name, a valid driver's license, and any other required ID as specified in the Rental Terms.
Your hiring contract is directly with the vehicle rental provider, subject to the Rental Agreement and local laws. You will sign a contract with the vehicle rental provider when collecting the vehicle.
Before driving the vehicle, we recommend thoroughly checking for any damage and ensuring documentation of existing damage by the rental provider. Take photographs or video of the vehicle to document its condition.
The vehicle rental provider reserves the right to refuse a vehicle to any customer who does not meet eligibility requirements or is unfit to drive, without refund.
We are not liable for any issues related to the vehicle, including its condition or refusal of rental by the provider.
Payment Terms
Payment terms depend on the vehicle and rental provider:
  • (A) Fully prepaid: Payment is made in full at booking.
  • (B) Partial prepayment: Part of the payment is made at booking, with the balance payable to the rental provider at vehicle collection.
  • (C) Pay-on-collection: Full payment is made directly to the rental provider at vehicle collection.
Prices may change during booking, but will not affect accepted bookings except in cases of obvious error. Prices shown are inclusive of VAT and other taxes unless indicated otherwise. Prices may vary due to foreign exchange rates and payment card fees.
Additional charges may apply, such as age-related fees, one-way fees, toll fees, and extras. Security deposits may be required by the rental provider.
We are not responsible for additional fees charged by banks or payment card providers.
Other Explanations
  • Payment Cards: Customers must have a physical payment card in the lead driver's name with enough funds to cover the security deposit, rental balance, and any extras. The types of cards accepted vary by rental company and location, so customers should check the terms of their selected rental. ReservAway.com accepts payment cards as outlined during the booking process but advises against assuming that rental companies will accept mobile payment methods like Apple Pay or Google Pay.
  • Damage to Vehicles: Customers must report mechanical problems or damage to the rental provider immediately. Failure to do so could result in invalidated insurance or additional costs. Customers should not drive away a vehicle with pre-existing damage without ensuring it is documented. It is recommended to take photographs of the vehicle before driving away to avoid disputes later.
  • Flight and Travel Cancellations: Customers are responsible for notifying the rental provider if their flight or other travel plans are disrupted. Failure to do so could result in being charged the full cost of the booking. Additional charges may apply for out-of-hours collections.
  • Accuracy of Information: ReservAway.com strives to provide accurate product information and prices, but errors may occur. In case of a failed booking or incorrect pricing, a full refund will be issued. Customers are advised to check directly with the rental provider for any changes close to the collection date.
  • Vouchers: ReservAway.com may provide vouchers or credits for future bookings as a gesture of goodwill or part of promotions. Vouchers are subject to restrictions, including expiry dates, and are non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • Other Insurance: Additional top-up insurance may be offered by the rental provider at the time of vehicle collection. Contracts signed at collection are between the customer and the rental provider, and ReservAway.com cannot be held liable for issues related to these contracts.
  • Local Information: Information provided regarding rental location, opening hours, meeting instructions, and local charges are accurate at the time of booking.
  • Amending the Booking: Amendments to rental duration or lead driver before vehicle collection require canceling the existing booking and making a new one. Any amendments after vehicle collection should be made directly with the rental provider, who may apply additional charges.
  • Geographical Restrictions: Customers planning to travel across borders should check if the rental provider allows this and inform them accordingly. Failure to do so may invalidate insurance.
  • Road Tolls and Traffic Offenses: Local charges for tolls, parking, and traffic offenses are the responsibility of the customer. Rental providers may apply administration charges for handling fines.
  • Fuel Policy: Rental providers have varying fuel policies, typically either full-to-full or level-to-level. Customers should be familiar with the policy before collecting the vehicle.
  • Fair Mileage Policy: Rentals over 25 days are subject to a fair usage mileage policy. Additional charges may apply for exceeding the mileage limit.
  • Cancellations and Amendments: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before vehicle collection for a full refund (excluding non-refundable products, which are fully non-refundable from the point of purchase). Last-minute cancellations incur fees. Any changes made directly with the rental provider are subject to their terms.
  • Liability: ReservAway.com limits its liability and will not be responsible for indirect or consequential damages. Liability is limited to the cost of the booking, except in cases of negligence, fraud, or where consumer protection laws apply.
